Alpha Gamma Sigma (AGS) is an active, California state community college scholastic honor society that provides members with opportunities for service, leadership and scholarship. AGS Honor Society membership is available to all Citrus students who have completed at least 12 units of college courses with a cumulative and current grade point average of 3.0 or better.

 

The Iota chapter at Citrus was established in 1927 and has been a vital and active campus club for 85 years, with our chapter colors being black and gold. Members are students from all campus majors. We are a diverse group who enjoy the opportunity to be active on campus, in the community and often become campus leaders. AGS provides members with opportunities to plan, prepare, lead and participate in social service, scholarship and leadership activities. AGS conferences in both fall and spring include inspiring speakers and workshops and are open to all members.  Alpha Gamma Sigma seeks to help students in finding and achieving their goals by fostering incentives toward scholastic achievements and volunteerism.
